The Mixed Novice Team of Terri Jackson, Simon Daniels, Kayleigh Blackburn and Charlotte Shepheard came second
with Kayleigh being Ind 3rd with =Best Shoot and Charlotte 5th Ind.
The Junior Girls Team of Jo Sprules, Zoe Daniels and Rebecca Blackburn came first.
In the Mini Boys Tet Hamish Glynn scored a good 3582 pts which unfortunately left him unplaced as the competition was extremely strong.
Rebecca Mayle had 3694 pts in her first ever tet and was in 3rd (mixed club) team in the Mini Girls.
The Mixed Mini Triathlon team of Ben Cookson, Sophie Harris and Melissa Dawes came 4th. Ben Cookson had Best Run and won the class individully,
Hugo Flawn Thomas came 5th individually and Kristian Callaghan had best shoot.
Competition as always was extremely strong here and all South Berks Competitors did exceptionally well, with several personal bests achieved.
Connor Edmonds competed in his first ever Tri successfully completing all three disciplines with good results. Well done to all of you.
Stockland Lovell Inter-Area Tetrathlon
Congratulations go to three of our junior competitors in representing the area at the inter-area tetrathlon in Stockland Lovell this year.
Kayleigh Blackburn had a clear ride and excellent shoot giving her 2nd best shoot, also superb swim of 1100 pts. Rebecca Blackburn too
had an excellent ride over this big course on Beaulieu with only one refusal, again an excellent swim of 1058 pts.
Charlotte Shepheard also rode a superb ride, clear with just 1 second time penalty, and an equally excellent swim of 1082 pts.
As a team (with Fiona Clinch of Cowdray PC),
they came 7th overall - in fact all three girls have done us proud as a Branch and we look forward to them representing us as Novices in the
forthcoming Area Qualifier event in July.
Our one and only Mini competitor Miranda Jackson also had a brilliant competition. Unfortunately Area 13 could not find a team,
so Miranda battled on as an individual. A good ride and swim were followed by a brilliant run giving 1006pts, in fact 1km under 4mins,
well done! The standard was impressively high but Miranda's total of 3952 pts put her up amongst the best of them.

and Rhiannon Honey getting an individual 4th place.

Hambledon Hunt North Tetrathlon
Good weather preceeded an equally good tet weekend at Hambledon Hunt North. The XC course at West Meon held a few challenges for the minis
and quite a lot for Jo Sprules as a novice, as they used most of the senior jumps! Jo bravely went forward on Ben, having not really ridden
him much before and had an enjoyable round. End result for Jo was an individual 4th place against very stiff competition.
Sunday brought the Triathlon, where our Mini Boys team of Hugo Flaun-Thomas, Piers Flaun-Thomas, Sam Courtier-Dutton and Ashley Pullen won
the class. Individual results in the boys section were: Hugo 2nd, Ashley 3rd, Sam 6th and Piers just outside the placings. Kristian Callaghan
had best shoot.
In the Mixed Mini Tetrathlon, Hamish Glynn had an excellent competition - following a clear xc ride, he went on to become 2nd individually
improving his personal best swim time along the way. Rebecca Mayle had a very credible 6th place as one of only two 9yo taking part, riding
well with only a couple of "oops", she held the place with a good run and swim.

Callaghan 5th. Kristian also got Best Shoot.
