IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING WORKING RALLIES Please could everybody make sure they are correctly dressed at working rallies. Please check the website if you are not sure what you should be wearing. Black or blue hat silks only, hairnets must be worn by girls unless they have very short hair, beige jodphurs and pc sweatshirts with shirt and pc tie or polo shirt. Tack must be clean. Anyone not wearing correct dress will not be allowed to take part in the rally.Special note for Bournefield Rallies Please do not lunge in the parking field. If you have to lunge you may do so in the rally field but please ask permission before doing so.Last but not least....... everyone must be responsible for shutting the gate. If there is a vehicle behind you make sure they know they must shut it.Thanks! Payment can be made by cheque made payable to 'South Berks Pony Club' or Bank transfer - If paying by bank transfer the rally reference number and your surname must be quoted on the bank payment. You may email your rally booking form if paying by bank transfer. Bank details and reference numbers can be found on individual rally forms.
or Cash All members are entitled to attend 3 FREE working rallies each year. Please mark these as FOC on your rally booking form A MOUNTED RALLY is an instruction session and will include flatwork and possibly some jumping. These rallies will be geared to achieving the riding standard required for the test aimed for. SENIOR RALLIES - These are for those children who are in year 7 or above JUNIOR RALLIES - These are for those who are not eligible for Senior Rallies but that are reasonably confident off the lead rein, able to canter and willing to tackle a small jump. MINI RALLIES - These are for very young children or children still on the lead rein. All rallies must be pre-booked using the booking form. Please do not just turn up on the day. HORSE & PONY CARE/STABLE MANAGEMENT (HPC) RALLIES will cover specific subjects geared to Pony Club tests and will be organised in the lead up to any planned tests. CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING - are for those confident in wide open spaces on their own. MEDICAL ARMBANDS AND BODY PROTECTORS ARE MANDATORY DRESSAGE TRAINING - Use booking form and send to Gill Burgess JUNIOR SHOWJUMPING for those jumping 2'3" to 2'6". Use booking form and send to Hayley Turnbull INTERMEDIATE SHOWJUMPING for those jumping 3'3" Use booking form and send to Hayley Turnbull OPEN SHOWJUMPING for those jumping 3'6" Use booking form and send to Hayley Turnbull AREA TEAMS - To qualify to represent an Area Team, you and your horse must have attended at least three Mounted/Working Rallies since 1st July 2010, with at least one after 1 January 2011. Qualifying rallies are typed in BOLD, asterisked (*) and shaded on your rally list, so keep an eye out for these. Subs must be paid by 31 January of the year in which the area competition falls. If subs are not paid by this date, you may not attend any rallies and your insurance is no longer valid. If booking either by email or enquiring by telephone, a place will not be confirmed until the booking form has been received, together with payment. Please try not to phone after 9pm. If you have booked your child into a Rally or Training Session, which they are unable to attend, please DO NOT substitute another child without first checking with the rally organiser.
